What is the number one implement in your kitchen?
November 30th, 2005The idea stems from a recent post, in which I was compiling a list of the most important things in my kitchen. These are the things that are not necessarily in all kitchens, and in general, they are not the normal, obvious things (such as wooden spoons).
So, what is the number one implement in your kitchen? What is the one thing that you coundn’t function without? Create your posts, and let me know about them Please either post a response to this blog, or email me and I will collate the results and get them out. The due date is 15 December, and I will try to get the collated responses out before the New Year.
Ps: Could be a good opportunity to think of ideas for Christmas presents!

My microwave – rice, veggies, sterilising bottles, defrosting, I can’t live without it (I don’t cope in power failures – then it’s off to Brad’s for supper – Hey Craig you should do a blog on Brad, the best steak and calamari in Cape Town!). Otherwise my super sharp knife and chopping board which i use every day. My chopping board is from At Home and has a handy stainless steel tray built in which can be used for scraps or chopped veggies – easy to take out and throw in the pan without scraping your knife.
