Happy Birthday Madiba!
Today, arguably the greatest statesman the world has ever seen, Nelson Mandela, turns the remarkable age of 88.
Nelson Mandela was the first State President of the democratic South Africa, and led the country from 1994 until his retirement from governmental office in 1999.
So, from Notes from the Cape, “Happy Birthday, and may you grow younger each year!”
