Notes from the Cape

In Toastmasters, we are often taught when to use quotations in our presentations, how and when to use them, to correctly cite your sources etc.

Well, here is quite an interesting interview on Guy Kawasaki’s site with Jon Winokur, somebody who has written over 20 books, many of which are collections of quotations. The article describes how he goes about compiling the quotations, where he finds them from, how he tries to be the first to source a quotation etc.

It is interesting reading for anybody who has an interest in quotations or speechmaking.
