Winner of International Mind-mapping Contest!
A few weeks ago, I submitted one of my mindmaps to the online contest on mindmap-software.com. Every two weeks they choose the best mindmap, and the winner gets a free e-book.
Well, wasn’t I surprised to read my email this morning to find out that I have won, I have won a free ebook (worth 40 euros), and my mindmap is proudly displayed on their website. The book that I won is called Visual Mapping, which discusses using mind maps for both business and personal use.
The actual mind-map that I sent was a mapped out version of my CV, which is what I now hand out to anybody wishing to see my CV. The responses that I have received are very encouraging in two ways, namely that it is a significant differentiator over the normal blank and white typed CV, and it gives a very good overview as to who I am on a single page.
I wrote the map using Inspiration, a very simple to use (and inexpensive) mind-mapping tool. I use it extensively to map out almost all of my speeches and training programmes, as well as for general business applications, such as mapping out websites, and for summarizing documents and books (I got through my entire honours using mindmaps).
So it was great to win the prize – it keeps me motivated to keep using mindmaps

Awesome! Congrats! Send me the big picture, please, I can only make out some vague pics, and it looks really cool!
