413KB/Sec download speeds from Telkom?
You can say what you like about Telkom Internet bandwidth in South Africa, but the fact is that three years ago, I was using a 56k modem which thought was pretty cool. Last year I was limited to a WIFI line of sight 64k link, and I am now downloading on a regular basis at a speed of 4meg.
I have just downloaded the Firefox browser at a speed of 413KB/sec, which I think is pretty amazing – the entire download took about 5 seconds!
Where to next?
ps: now if Telkom can just sort the monumental mistake they made on my telephone account…..
