An appeal to all bloggers

I read 40+ blogs on a regular bases. I read all of them through a RSS feed reader (GreatNews and FeedReader are both free readers – they are both pretty good).

Some bloggers provide the full text of their posts in their feeds, and some only provide an extract – usually the first few lines. The idea of course being to get you to visit their site and get their hit rates up (and perhaps click on an ad or two while you are there).

Here’s the secret. I don’t have the inclination to read the first few lines and then click through to the blog to read the entire article. There are plenty of really good blogs out there without me having to do that.

Maybe I am shooting myself in the foot, but when I read 40+ blogs, I don’t have time to click through to the perhaps 100 posts that are created daily – it defeats the whole point of having a news reader.

So, all the blogs that I read provide the full post in the feeds. I wonder how many other people feel the same as me.

Folks – please provide the full articles in your feeds.
