A Mirage, or just an optical illusion

Mirage_002Mirage_003The other day I was driving down Koeberg Road in Milnerton, and I saw a Mirage. Yes, it was really a Mirage, not just an optical illusion caused by the heat waves.

I wonder if they had run out of fuel?

Actually, I wonder what they were really up to – any ideas?
