Notes from the Cape

After some 24 hours traveling, we have arrived safely in Delaware, USA. With the exception of one broken bottle of wine, the flights were pretty uneventful (at least it was not the Diemersfontein Pinotage).

While my body’s clock is still somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean, it is slowly coming right, and I should be able to make it until later tonight (we are having dinner with 8 other people, and I believe that I am doing the braai).

The weather is fantastic – probably about 28 deg C with a little humidity – a much needed break from the horrible Cape Town winter weather that we left! Tomorrow we are off boating on Chesapeake Bay, and then beer tasting on Monday.
