Day 129: The sun behind clouds

Day 129: The sun behind clouds, originally uploaded by Craig is shooting.
Thick clouds blowing in front of the sun. The pic was far too bright, so I did an experiment, using my sunglasses as an impromptu lens filter, and dialing the aperture way down.
Ok, so the glass in my sunglasses is not of the greatest quality, but I think that the idea kind of works.
Day 128: Portrait
I was experimenting with B&W photos. Here is one that I am reasonable happy with. The pic is of a friend of mine giving a presentation. I just love the expression on her face.
Day 127: Protea
Today was not a very inspiring day, so here is a simple pic of a protea.
Day 126: Langebaan
The Langebaan lagoon in the late afternoon. The poles are actually there to separate the public boat launch area from the bathing areas of the beach.
Even though it is on the West Coast, the lagoon stills has very (we at least quite) warm water.
Emily
I caught this shot of Emily, who actually managed to keep still for more than 2 seconds. When we got her about 4 1/2 months ago, she weighed 6kg, now she is over 30kg!
