Day 165: Chocolate Spring Rolls
I had these chocolate spring rolls for dessert at our local Thai Restaurant, Simply Asia in Lakeside.
I was quite happy with my meal until I overheard the waitress mention to the next table that they had chocolate spring rolls for dessert, and that was me lost. I simply had to try them, and yes, they are as decadent as they look.
The pastry is crispy, and the melted chocolate just pours out when you take a bite. You get six on a plate, but we split them (even Lois had some!), and trust me, three is plenty!
Highly recommended!
