Day 167: Wild Mushrooms
Day 167: Wild Mushrooms, originally uploaded by Craig is shooting.
I was very excited to find my local Woolworths store selling packs of mixed wild mushrooms. A packed immediately went into my basked. And of course, Lois does not eat mushrooms, which meant that I could eat them all myself :-)
I stir-fried them in a little butter, with fresh garlic and some herbs. Really yummy!
Note: Woolworths in South Africa is not to be confused with Woolworths in U.K., our Woolworths is affiliated to Marks and Spenser.

Woolworths UK went bust sometime back, victim of the recession …Nice looking ‘shrooms.

I am not surprised; I was never wild about them. Woolworths here is alive and strong, and sells some of the top food in the country.
