Day 163: Pens, glassed and writing

I took this picture on a whim of somebody taking some notes at a Toastmasters meeting. I am not sure why, but I quite like the unplanned setting, the folded glasses and blue pen, with the writing hand in the background.

My father and two of his grandchildren (not mine!). I just like the happy expressions.

Day 161: Pink Flower

Day 161: Pink Flower, originally uploaded by Craig is shooting.

At the moment, Cape Town, is either pouring with rain, or gloriously sunny. This weekend, the sun has been very kind to us, and I have even managed to spend the entire weekend in short sleeves.

This little flower in my garden seems to be particularly enjoying the sunny weather. It is supposed to rain tomorrow, so I shall enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 160: Bicycle

Just 264 days until the 2011 Argus Cycle Tour on 13 March 2011, I should probably start training sometime.

Long Street

Long Street, originally uploaded by Craig is shooting.

This scene is taken from the top end of Long Street, just before the soccer match between Bafana Bafana and Uruguay. Sadly, it was not a good day for South Africa; we were beaten 3-0.
