Cape Town Stadium, or Newlands Rugby?
Here are two photos; the first of Cape Town Stadium (which hosted the recent Germany/Argentina game), and Newlands Rugby Stadium, which has a history as far back as 1890. Look at the difference in the architecture, the round modern look, and the “70′s” square look.

Day 158: Vuvuzelas
Day 158: Vuvuzelas, originally uploaded by Craig is shooting.
Love them or hate them, they have become the unofficial musical instrument of South Africa, and integral to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Personally, I find them noisy and anti-social, but despite myself I love them!
Viva South Africa.
Day 155: Go Bafana Bafana!
Day 155: Go Bafana Bafana, originally uploaded by Craig is shooting.
A Bafana Bafana fan supporting the team at the fanpark in Belville. Bafana Bafana drew with Mexico 1-1. I went to the fan Park yesterday to watch the festivities before the match, and the match itself. It was crowded and noisy, yet one of the most friendly and exciting environments that I have ever been in. It was like a massive group of friends getting together to party!
Here are a few more pictures.
A fan supporting South Africa in the opening few minutes.
A young fan holding a flag twice his size.
More fans.
A fan blowing his vuvuzela outside the fan park.
A young fan blowing his vuvuzela as hard as he can. I think he might be a trumpet player when he is a little older. I love the puffed-chipmunk cheeks.
