South African Navy day is today, and it is a rare opportunity to be able to visit a Naval facility and to take photos of Naval ships (both South African and German).

Day 56: Huey Helicopter, originally uploaded by Craig Strachan.
This is an old Huey helicopter , used mainly in the Vietnam war. This
particular one is now used for tourist chopper flights over Cape Town. I
caught it in action flying over my house.

Old Corvette spotted outside the Forrester Arms in Newlands, Cape Town. The
car was so sparkling and clean that you could use it as a shaving mirror.
