I love this old car that I spotted, and the best part is that it is in fully working order, well at least it is running.

On Saturday, I went to the Ink & Iron expo in Plumstead, a celebration of cars, bikes, and tattoos. I am going to split this over four posts, today is the cars, soon to be followed by the bikes, people and ink.
Chevrolet Truck. The funny thing about this truck is that I drove past it about 10 days ago and thought what a great car it would be to shoot, and there it was, so I got my shot after all.

An old ford, converted into a Hotrod – I love this car!
The Green Beetle
I spotted this old Bettle parted at the beach in Muizenberg, and had to shoot it. The car was in excellent condition, and was clearly looked after. The Beetle is still a classic such a lovely design.

Last night, I had a meeting at the German Club in Cape Town, and I am wondering if they should rename it to the German and Thai club. There is a tuk-tuk parked outside, and the menu is a mixture of traditional German food (mostly pork), and Thai stir-fries. I had a Thai beef & chilli noodle dish, and it was excellent.
I met the chef who is (of course) Thai! Anyway, the food is not too expensive, and is pretty good, so pop around if you have some time. They are in Roodehek Terrace, Gardens (off Hope Street).
