On Sunday I posted a picture of a lovely summers day, and just two days later, we are having some rather unexpected rain in Cape Town. This Cape Honeysuckle in my garden seems to be enjoying the rain.
Part of the Table Mountain range reflecting in the Westlake River. It was a
very wind-free morning, which is very unusual for this time of the year in
Cape Town.

Reflection of buildings on the water in Durbanville. It is actually an old
quarry which has been converted into luxury apartments and office buildings.
Re: Another picture of the exit of Zandvlei in Lakeside, originally uploaded by Craig Strachan.
This is very similar to this picture, but taken in very different weather. I quite like the clouds.
Today is a really windy day in Lakeside. This often brings the kitesurfers
to the beach, and the windsurfers to the vlei (lake). Here is a pic that I
captured of a windsurfer on Zandvlei. I was trying to get a sense of the
speed he was moving. Hope it worked.
The canal leading out of Zandvlei, looking towards Muizenberg beach. Taken standing on the bridge above the sluice gates.
