A great sunrise early in the morning, caught on the way to work.
Days 169: Sunset in Lakeside
I was playing around with long exposures and a tripod after sunset. This pic was taken of Zandvlei about 45 minutes after the sun went down, with a 25 second exposure.
You are looking from the Lakeside End, looking towards Marina da Gama.
Day 168: Sundial
The sun-dial at the entrance to Mnandi beach in Cape Town. It is very popular with the people of Strandfontein and Khayelitsha, and it also has a coveted Blue Flag, which is awarded for excelling in safety, cleanliness, provision of amenities and maintenance of environmental standards.
In Summer and on public holidays, there are thousands of people visiting.
This particular sundial is not very accurate. Although it says it was taken just after 4pm, it was 4:58pm, almost 1 hour late.
Day 66: Old yellow car
Spotted outside a local hardware shop, a beautiful old yellow car. Checkout
the rims on the wheels, also yellow!
