Turkish coffee anybody?
When we stayed in Berlin, our host was from Turkey, which meant that I was treated to many cups of the most amazing Turkish coffee.
This coffee vendor at the Gorlitz fresh produce market made the most amazing coffee; and since I suspected he wouldn’t have tea we took our own teabag for Lois, and he was quite happy giving us a cup of hot water so Lois could enjoy her cup of tea while I drank my coffee.
Anybody for coffee?
One of the many coffee bars in Italy; you find them all over the county. Many are just a bar counter where you order a quick yet most excellent expresso on your commute. This particular coffee bar was at the Napoli railway station.
Viennese coffee and cake
Vienna is known for its coffee shops, and with good reason! The coffee and cakes are wonderful, enjoyed in the splendour of comfortable leather armchairs. I could get quite comfortable with Viennese life.
I had coffee with whipped cream, enjoyed with a Mozart cake, which is layers of light and dark chocolate.
