SA Express flight landing; they serve the smaller regional routes

Aeroplanes taking off and landing remind me of my love to travel, and although I was in Italy just a few months ago, yesterday mane me feel itchy. I was assisting with a training session in Parow, and the venue was right above the flight path of the aeroplanes landing at Cape Town International Airport.

This was an opportunity for taking some shots of the landing planes.

Mango, yes we do have an airline called Mango. They are a no frills low budget carrier.

Yeah, it is probably about 1 km from the actual runway, so they are coming down fast.

  3. I live in Ottery and I have great fun at night between 19:00 and 20:30 when
two large planes come flying over the house. I hear them comming, go outside,
watch them fly over and wait until i can’t see them anymore , then only do i go
back inside. I had a rather strange experience a few weeks ago when Lufthanza
airlines dropped into Cape Town just for a photo shoot. The pilot had me scared
so bad that I contacted the air traffic control who replied assuring me not to worry
and that the passangers are only taking pictures. Anyway, other than that all planes
have been well behaved and sticking to their air routes and times. That was some
serious Plane Spotting that day . Cheers

Ha ha. A friend of mine has just left Lufthansa, maybe he knows more about it. Bu it is great setting your clocks by the planes flying overhead.
